You used to tell me often ‘meet me under the stars ‘ Ben!
Where are you hidden for so long dear?
I am not finding you out here and there!
I have been waiting for you for long
Singing your favourite romantic song
But can’t see you! You are gone!
You told me to meet you under the stars!
Are you here or gone to sky among the stars?
I am standing under the stars looking up to sky
Being perplexed, undone helpless to ask ‘where’ and ‘Why ‘?
ABOUT THE POET
Dr Dipak Dikshit, a resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, India, is a Hotel Management Teacher, Training and Placement Expert since 2000 for the under privileged students of the society providing free books, uniforms, lifetime job opportunity, etc. and a nationally and internationally published poet having two Bengali poetry books, the dividends of which is contributed for the treatment of orphan Cancer affected children. Thus his education and literary works both are engaged in social welfare activities.
