God took all the new in me,
The precious and true-blue in me,
The sweetest “I Love You” in me,
And then created you.
And it was I that gave you birth
When Angels blew your soul to earth,
And now I see what life is worth,
’Cause Love created you.
And whether I’ve been weak or strong,
Life’s pleasures for me brief or long,
I’ve sung one grand, triumphant song.
It resonates in you.
So, in these words your heart can rest,
That Universe has done its best

When Love created you.
ABOUT THE POET
Dr Dipak Dikshit, a resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, India, is a Hotel Management Teacher, Training and Placement Expert since 2000 for the under privileged students of the society providing free books, uniforms, lifetime job opportunity, etc. and a nationally and internationally published poet having two Bengali poetry books, the dividends of which is contributed for the treatment of orphan Cancer affected children. Thus his education and literary works both are engaged in social welfare activities.
